Here’s a drawing I did recently of my acquaintance, the writer David Rakoff. His books are great (as are his articles, should you happen across his byline in some tony periodical).

    I couldn’t do that from memory. It’s from a photo I took. If I go the photo reference route I like to at least shoot my own.

    And I’ll be posting more straight portraiture, etc., soon.
